Get ready for another epic weekend! After two fantastic years, the Elwes Beer Festival is back for its third year — bigger, better, and full of the same great vibes that made it a hit. Join us over the August bank holiday weekend, from Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th August 2025.
A Look Back at the Journey
From its incredible launch in 2023 to a buzzing follow-up in 2024, the Elwes Beer Festival has quickly become a staple of the summer calendar. With a perfect mix of live music, top-tier beer, tasty food, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, the festival has grown in size and spirit each year — and 2025 promises to raise the bar even higher.

No Tickets, Just Good Times
As always, no ticket is required — just show up and enjoy the festival. Everyone is welcome to be part of this celebration of community, music, and beer.
Tokens & Reusable Cups
Outdoor bars will again operate on a token-only basis, with tokens available to purchase throughout the weekend. We’re also continuing our eco-conscious tradition of using Elwes reusable cups. Bring your cup from a previous year, or pick one up at the event.

Q: How do I buy beer and cider from the outside bar?
A: The outside bar runs on a token system. Tokens can be purchased at the Token Stand outside.
Q: Can I pay by card at the token stand?
A: Yes, both cash and card are accepted.
Q: Do I need tokens for food or just drinks?
A: Tokens are only for the outside bar. Food stalls accept cash or card directly.
Q: Are tokens refundable?
A: No, tokens are non-refundable.
Q: Can I use tokens at the inside bar?
A: No, tokens are valid for the outside bar only.
Q: Are reusable cups available?
A: Yes, cups can be purchased for £1 and are yours to keep.
Q: Can I return my reusable cup?
A: No, cups are not returnable—they make a perfect souvenir!
Q: Is there a programme of beers I can keep?
A: Yes, a festival beer guide is available from the beer tent.
Q: How many breweries are attending?A: We’ll be serving 15 ales and 8 ciders from breweries across the country.
Q: Are there gluten-free or alcohol-free options?A: Yes, we’ll have a selection of gluten-free and alcohol-free beers and ciders.

A: No — this is a free event!
Q: Do I need ID?
A: Yes. A valid photo ID is required for anyone who looks under 25.
Q: Are children allowed at the event?
A: Yes, children are welcome but must leave by 10:00pm due to licensing rules.
Q: Can I bring my dog?
A: Yes, well-behaved dogs are welcome but must remain outside and kept on a lead at all times.

A: Yes! Live music runs all weekend. The full line-up can be found above.
Q: What time does the live music finish?
A: Live music ends at 10:00pm each night due to licensing rules.

Q: Can I bring my own chairs/blankets?
A: Yes, you’re welcome to bring picnic chairs and blankets.
Q: Is smoking/vaping allowed?
A: Only in designated smoking areas.
Q: Are there toilets on site?
A: Yes, we have plenty of toilets and accessible facilities.

Q: What if it rains?A: The festival will go ahead rain or shine. We recommend bringing a jacket or umbrella.
🚗 Parking & Travel
Q: Is there car parking available?
A: Unfortunately, no on-site parking is available as the car park is being used for the festival. Please do hoever respect the comunity when parking around the village.
